Wordluniquees - The pig is a type of ungulate animals the noise length
and nosed mushy. These animals have an average weight of 60 kg to 90 kg.
However, there is a startling thing in Taiwan, there are no pigs which have a
weight of 936 kg or nearly 1 ton.
The pig that weighs almost 1 ton is a pig who becomes
a participant in the competition organised by the Temple of Tzushih in Yingko,
Sanhsia New Taipei City, northern Taiwan. There are a total of 10 pigs
"sacred" are included as well in this competition.
Then the pigs in the forced to eat as much as possible
in order to win the competition. The competition held in Taiwan it is an old
tradition that is passed down each generation. However, some years ago the
competition received criticism from supporters of the spicy animal rights.
According to them, the competition is so cutthroat, where pigs should be in
parentheses in small cages and beaten the pig snout in order to want to eat.
Animal rights advocates asked to remove competition.
The request was approved by the shrine, however they
will remove it in the year 2017. However, before the year 2017 they still will
hold the competition, but it's just that they don't give gifts that are too
fancy for the winner.
